January 12th, 2017. Today was the loveliest day I’ve ever experienced. The weather was perfect, the sky was cloudy and ominous, but the sun still shone vibrantly, not in a haze, but with actual rays moving through the streets, carried by the strong, lukewarm winds. The temperature was perfect T-shirt and jeans weather, no jacket required, but wearing one would not be uncomfortable. Perfect running conditions allowed for a blissful period of rest for my mind, and a rare time of stimulation for my body. The dreary repetitiveness of my activities couldn’t even disturb the tranquility of the perfect day.
